Angel is a reluctant model for the camera, but as you can see, she is a beautiful girl. She was given up because her older owners were no longer able to care for her. She is 5 years old. According to previous vet records, her leg was broken when she was very young. Unfortunately, nothing was done to correct it, and she will sometimes holds it up, but she otherwise gets around fine. She runs up and down stairs in her foster home where she has grown into a very happy gal. She still has some quirks (she likes doors open very wide before she will go through and can be initially leery of new people). She is really starting to feel more comfortable and is blooming. She has a blue coat that is sparse in some areas, but a premium diet has filled in much of her coat. She needs a family with a fenced yard, so she can continue getting sufficient exercise to keep her leg muscles fit, only older children, and would probably do best as an only pet. She does get along with my older Dobe, but he is very non-confrontational and gets along with everybody. She would also do well with an older couple, as she is totally housebroken, well trained, and low maintenance, but also very alert, and likes to sleep later in the morning. For additional information about this “Angel”, contact her foster Mom, Rdobe1@aol.com.
DoberDuds: Patricia Buchner wants Angel to have DoberDuds to be dressed in style. Thanks Patricia!
Sponsors:
* Margit Wenger makes another donation to IDR+. This time Angel caught her eye! Thanks for your donation Margit!
* Darin and Belinda Paine donate to sponsor full vet care for Angel. Thanks to the Paines for stepping up as guardian angels for Dobes in need.
* Karen Martin donates for Angel’s vaccinations. Angel clearly did not receive the best of care, including veterinary care, before coming to IDR, but thanks to sponsors like Karen, now she is in much better hands.
