Coco

bulldog 1

Meet Coco – an adorable 5 1/2 year-old female English Bulldog. Coco came to us from a shelter, and unfortunately we do not know much about her past. Since she has been with us, though, she has been an absolute sweetheart. She is great with her foster dog and cat siblings, and she loves children. She is a big girl, however, and would probably be best only with older children. She has shown no aggression at all, but she is playful and could definitely knock over a small child inadvertently. Coco has a pretty typical bulldog energy level – she loves to lie on her bed in front of the fireplace and just be around people. She does show bursts of energy when when she firsts sees people, at dinner time, and after she goes potty. Speaking of which, though it took a little time, she now seems to be crate-trained and housebroken. Coco walks well on a leash, and we are working with her on some simple commands. She does not appear to have had any training in the past, but she is making progress learning ‘sit’ and ‘wait’ commands. Overall she is a great dog, and will make a family very happy.  Email Pam at orphandobe@ameritech.net
