Jillian was picked up as a stray, and she was very skinny and heartworm positive. She has since put on weight and has been treated for heartworm, so she is ready to be adopted! She has been waiting a long time for the perfect home with no other dogs or cats. Jillian loves every person she meets, so she would be great for someone who likes a velcro dog who wants love love love. However, she can also be a little insecure, so she needs a patient and consistent owner who can build her confidence. When she was in her foster home, she was housebroken, and she felt safe in her crate. Unfortunately, she had to move out of her foster home, so she is currently being kenneled. She is getting attention and playtime there, but she really needs a home of her own. She loves getting attention and being petted. She’s not much of a fetcher, but she enjoys the freedom of running in a yard. Email Pam at firstname.lastname@example.org

* Jodi Searl shares her generosity with IDR+ and donates to help with Jillian’s treatments. We are pleased that she is doing much better and wish that more owners kept up with preventive treatment for heartworm so that she wouldn’t have to go through such a tough treatment regime. Thanks Jodi, for helping Jillian out!
