Rizzo

rizzo 3

Rizzo has been classified as a Dober-wannabe.  He is really a mix between a Doberman and German Shepherd.  If you adopt Rizzo, you will be getting the best of both breeds!  He has the beautiful red/rust coloring of a Doberman but the coat of a German Shepherd.  He really does not mind being out in the rain, which is not a characteristic of a Doberman.  He is a sweet boy with a big Dober-lean and wants to be petted all the time.  He has big paws for his size and a heavier walk, which may be more of the German Shepherd.  He is great with large dogs (too rough with small ones) and will not be placed in a home with cats.  He is young and very energetic and therefore needs to be in a home with a fenced yard because he loves to run laps in the yard.  He is learning manners now but will need to attend obedience classes with his forever owner.  Rizzo’s energy level and lack of manners also requires him to find a family with older children who can handle such a fun boy. He appears to be housebroken.  He walks great on a leash and doesn’t mind encountering new people and things on walks. He would do well in the city. Rizzo will encourage you to keep your house picked up as he thinks anything left out is a potential toy for him to play with or meal on the counter, but he is easily bribed to exchange for an appropriate dog toy. He is SMART and learns quickly. He loves relaxing in his crate. He is a very beautiful dog, and I do not believe the pictures reflect his handsome face and magnificent personality.  If you are interested in learning more about Rizzo please email me at leninger1604@comcast.net.

Collar and Leash:  Rizzo will be quite the handsome dude with his new set of Duds donated by Amar Patel.  Thanks Amar!
