Rudy

Rudy is a handsome 3-year-old Dachshund that lost his home when his owner went into a nursing home.   He has a sweet personality, follows his foster mom wherever she goes, he loves to cuddle and will make a great companion dog.  Rudy is a good boy in the house; he doesn’t chew and has been doing a very long work day just fine.  He cannot be with birds and cats.  He is being fostered in a home with other Dachshunds, but he is best placed in a home so that he is the only dog.  He has become very protective of his foster mother and the surroundings and while he is getting along fine with the female Dachshund, he is not getting along well with the other male Dachshund.   When Rudy went to visit his dad in the nursing home, he did well meeting all the people including children.   He is very protective in his home and will bark at a stranger until they pet him and then he is fine.  For more information on Rudy contact Teresa at tntndobes2@aol.com.
