Shandy

DSCN4675

Shandy was rescued by a good Samaritan that came across her being walked by some kids in the scorching heat and became quite concerned as she not only appeared in distress but was also very underweight.  He offered to pay them for the dog and they gladly took the Samaritan up on his offer and handed him the dog.  After that she was taken to a local shelter for safety (as well as a legal holding period) and then transferred to IDR. Shandy has got the sweetest disposition and the best outlook on life.  She has never met a stranger and makes friends wherever she goes.  Shandy definitely sees the glass as half-full.  She has gotten along with every dog she has met and just loves kids.  Shandy is housebroken and sleeps quietly in her crate overnight.  This girl is going to make a family very lucky.  She’ll be your best friend, playmate and cuddle buddy.   If you are interested in Shandy, please  email her foster family at dharken@ymail.com.
