Jillian was picked up as a stray, and she was very skinny and heartworm positive. She has since put on weight and has been treated for heartworm, so she is ready to be adopted! Jillian is housebroken.  She takes a little time to get used to new things, but once she does she is much more confident. She is easily spooked by loud noises and makes a dash for her crate. Her crate is her safety place, especially to get away from the evil vacuum cleaner.  She loves everyone she meets and loves to give and receive all the attention she can get, nudging in typical dober fashion. Did I mention how cute and adorable she is?  And what a good girl she is? You should meet her and see for yourself! Email Pam at orphandobe@ameritech.net

Thanks to everyone who helped us heal this little girl.

*  Jodi Searl shares her generosity with IDR+ and donates to help with Jillian’s treatments.  We are pleased that she is doing much better and wish that more owners kept up with preventive treatment for heartworm so that she wouldn’t have to go through such a tough treatment regime.  Thanks Jodi, for helping Jillian out!
