Dear Abby,

We need to write to you for advice. Why is this gorgeous girl still adoptable? We don’t understand! This Abby is a 6-year-old cropped female Doberman who was surrendered to an area shelter because there were too many dogs to manage in her prior home. She came in really skinny, but she is at a healthy weight now, and she is ready to be adopted! Due to a shortage of foster homes, she is staying in a nice boarding facility. There, she playbows with the other bigger male dogs, and she likes to run back and forth between the fenced areas in a friendly manner. We would suggest slowly pairing her with a male around her size and energy level, but she would also be happy to get all of the attention to herself. She has no history with kids or cats. Abby likes to play fetch and knows some basic commands. Watch a video of her sitting pretty! We hope you can help us find her a wonderful forever home.
