Chase is one of 4 Dobermans who were rescued from a neglectful backyard breeder. The dogs lived in a cow barn with little positive human interaction. The other 3 have all been adopted, but Chase is taking longer to come out of his shell. He is now 11 months old. In a foster home, he has been blossoming with TLC, patience, and training. Some things and noises are still frightening, but as he is exposed to new experiences, his confidence goes up. Chase currently lives with another Dobe and a Dachshund, and he loves them both. In fact, he’d appreciate having another dog around to show him the ropes. He has learned house breaking, leash walking, basic commands, and more! Although he has gained some confidence, he cannot handle scary things, like an electric fence. Like most Dobes, Chase is a whiney drama baby who will stick to his favorite people like velcro. He has no history with cats or kids, and due to his occasional skittishness, he’d prefer older kids.
