For 2 years, Jada had been used by a backyard breeder, who thankfully closed up shop a few months ago. He put the word out about wanting to unload his dogs, and thankfully a dedicated friend of IDR+ heard and had Jada, along with another female, surrendered directly to her until they could be transferred to IDR+. The day before the transport, pregnant Jada gave birth to 10 puppies (who were all adopted by waiting approved adopters). She was the perfect momma as she cared for her growing puppies in the foster home. When the pups were big enough to go to their forever homes, she heaved a sigh of relief and smiled pretty for pictures to find a forever home of her own. At 2 years old, she’s ready to sleep on a couch and chase squirrels in a fenced yard. She does have an outside interest in critters, so we don’t know how that will translate to indoor kitties. She has no history with cats or kids, but she seems fine with dogs after a slow intro. Although Jada is very sweet and calm, she has not had any training, so she will appreciate learning the ropes with you in a class. You can tell that she doesn’t have her pre-baby body back yet in her photos, but her tummy and boobies should tighten up once the milk dries up and gets spayed.
