Kaya is a pretty girl who has a fantastic coat for a fawn, and she has an adorable cowlick down the back of her neck. She was surrendered to IDR+ because the family with a small child could not manage her exercise needs without a fenced yard. Her birthday is 3/10/16, which makes her 1.5 years old. As a young working breed, she will need a job to keep her mind and body active. She LOVES to play fetch, so she will need her own fenced yard to play fetch until your arm is ready to fall off. Her surrender paperwork says she is housebroken and enjoys playing in a kiddie pool on hot days. She had beginning obedience and knows the basics, but she will require a training commitment to ensure her success. We are told she is good with dogs (after a slow intro), but she should not be placed with cats. In her previous home, young children running around made her very nervous, so we will not set her up to fail in a similar situation. Her favorite activities were playing frisbee and snuggling. If you can fulfill all of her requests, please apply for consideration.
