Murphy is a super sweet boy who was picked up running loose with no chip, no collar, and no tag. Despite all efforts to find his home, he is now safe with us and getting ready to find a forever home. His clean teeth and bright eyes put him around 2 years old. He has a very healthy coat for a fawn boy, who typically have thinner coats. Murphy is a NICE boy who seems to be friendly with other dogs, but we don’t know how he is with kitties. He has no official history with kids, but he has been remarkably well-behaved around the ones he has met. He will sit if you ask nicely, lean if you are next to him, nudge your hand if you stop petting him, and whine if you aren’t paying attention to him–all typical Doberman traits. Murphy doesn’t mind being in a crate, but he does mind sharing his yard with squirrels. He could use some improvement on a leash, but that pertains to almost every young Dobe with an unknown background. He will appreciate training to show him some skills.
