Hut, hut, HIKE! Manuel is a 3-month-old (DOB 8/7/17) bruiser. We aren’t sure about his breed, but his mom was a 50lb Schnauzer-mix (photo in gallery), and dad is anyone’s guess. He is 20 pounds now, so he could surpass his mom’s size. He does not have a hypoallergenic coat. Manuel is just as comfortable chillin watching the game as he is playing tackle catch out in the yard. He will need a solid QB to help teach him all the plays (obedience class is a MUST), a lot of quality playtime outdoors, and a soft loving place to crash his growing body for a few hours at a time. He’s mastering what stairs are, and he isn’t terribly adventurous on his own. His energy level matches whoever he’s near, so a rambunctious child might get tackled, or a bigger dog jumped on, but he’s still a puppy, so maybe he needs a few laps around the field to set him straight when he gets worked up. Manuel is currently being fostered with kids and an older dog. He doesn’t live with a cat, but he’s young enough to learn to love them. Manuel walks on a leash like a curious fella, and he doesn’t bark at the door or other dogs. He’s already understanding the house-breaking concept too. He was a Petco meet-and-greet event and did great!
