Available Plus Dogs: Mini

Because we are all volunteers, Illinois Doberman Rescue Plus only considers approved applicants to meet our orphans in our foster homes. Our adoption radius is 3 hours from the Chicagoland area.

Meet Mini! This adorable middle aged Chihuahua was found wandering stray and is thought to be around 8 years old. She is very friendly and outgoing for her breed and is even friendly with kids that are respectful of little dogs. Mini loves to be close to her people and is snuggly and sweet. She is too afraid of big dogs to be placed with dogs much larger than her. She is cat friendly. Her favorite pastime is getting cozy in her favorite blankets or lap and taking a nap. She has possible bilateral luxating patellas but given her age and the fact that she gets around just fine, the vet thinks it’s okay to leave them alone.
