To read Kessia’s story in full you can read it at the bottom of her bio. It was a long journey for Kessia to get here and she is loving her new found life. When I met her she was living in a shelter in Peru, South America with 40 other dogs (all living together). She is now fostered in a home and loving her comfortable chair. Kessia is about 5 years old and a very sweet girl. She is good with the other dogs but likes only to play with them on her terms. She is good with cats. Kessia is a very easy foster girl who does not chew and has never had an accident (not even on long flight with delays from Peru to Miami). As mentioned in the previous detailed story about her and her friend, Milou, her leg was severely broken during a robbery and did not heal correctly. Once she arrived in the States, she had to have it removed. She gets around great and seems so happy now that it is gone. She can do steps easily but might be best in a home with fewer steps as that will get more difficult over time. Email Pam at orphandobe@ameritch.net
