If you can use the word adorable for a Doberman… Battie is the definition. She’s pint-sized, sweet, and absolutely thrives on attention — and she’s not shy about asking for it!
Battie came to us from a complicated situation and arrived in rough shape, but she has made remarkable progress in foster care. She’s still learning how to be a “regular dog” in a home environment, and with each day her personality shines brighter. She is eager, affectionate, and full of life — very much like an active baby sister who just wants to be included in everything.
She would love a playful canine companion, especially one who enjoys zoomies and interactive play. Having a dog friend would be wonderful for her confidence and energy level. Obedience training would be a huge plus for Battie, and she shows all the signs of being an excellent agility dog — athletic, engaged, and eager to learn.
Battie’s soulful Doberman stare is something special — she looks straight into your heart (and maybe a little into your soul, too). Because of her past, structure and routine are important, especially a consistent potty schedule. With guidance, patience, and love, she continues to blossom.
Battie has come SO far in foster care, and now she’s ready for the next chapter — a home where she can feel safe, supported, and truly cherished. She deserves the kind of love she’s always been waiting for.
Battie is ready to give her whole heart — all she needs is someone to give theirs in return.
