Meet Bindi— The Sweetest Doberman (Doberlady) Looking for Her Forever Home
This is one of the hardest posts I’ve ever had to make, but it comes from love and wanting what’s best for her.
Bindi is our 3-year-old Doberman — a beautiful, affectionate, loyal girl who’s truly amazing with people of all ages. She’s gentle, patient, and has never shown aggression toward humans. She loves attention and will happily be your shadow — she’s the definition of a Velcro dog.
Unfortunately, after several incidents with our mini golden doodle, it’s clear that she needs to be the only dog in the home. She’s happiest when she can be the center of your world, getting all the love and snuggles to herself.
About Her:
• Age: 3 years
• Temperament: Loving, loyal, calm, and people-friendly
• Best home: Pet-free, quiet household with someone who’s home often
• Health: Spayed and healthy
• Medication: Daily pill for bladder incontinence (about $50/month — fully controls the issue)
• Included: Oversized kennel, favorite toys, and her current medication
Her Favorite Things:
• Playing fetch with her ball
• Tug-of-war with her big rope — her absolute favorite game
• Snuggling — she’s the best cuddle buddy and will keep you warm and cozy
• Being close to her person — she’ll follow you everywhere
Things She’s Not Crazy About:
• Car rides (she tolerates them, but prefers home life)
• Baths and nail trims (she’s not a fan, but manageable with patience)
• Loud noises and fireworks — she’s more of a calm-and-quiet-night-in kind of girl
She’s such a special dog — gentle, loving, and endlessly loyal. She has grown up with our three kids who have always treated her very respectfully, she has been around younger kids and done extremely well with them however I would prefer for her to be in a home with middle-aged to older calm children because that is the lifestyle she is used to. I’m not charging a rehoming fee; I just want her to go to a safe, loving home where she can thrive. I’ll be doing an application and home visit to make sure it’s the perfect fit. I will warn you if you make it to the phase for a home meeting I’m sure that you will not want to leave without her.
If you think you might be her person, please message me directly. She deserves the world, and I’m determined to find her a home that gives her just that.
Final take away nonnegotiables for her: she will be the only pet in the house, she will go to a very loving loyal family that will give her the best love she deserves, a fenced in yard will be required, upon interest I will hold a phone interview with you and if I feel you are a good match that she deserves you will come for an in person meeting at our home, a contract will be signed that if she is not a good fit for your home for any reason at any time she will be returned to us so I can ensure she does get the perfect forever home.
