Because we are all volunteers, Illinois Doberman Rescue Plus only considers approved applicants to meet our orphans in our foster homes. Please read our eligibility requirements and apply on our website: www.ildoberescue.com/adopt. After an application is submitted, additional inquiries can email dobes@ildoberescue.com.

Jolie is a beautiful female Doberman who recently ended up at Chicago Animal Care & Control after being dumped in the parking lot. She was found alongside a male Doberman we’ve named Bravo. We don’t have any information about their past.

Jolie is brand new to our care, so we’re still getting to know her. Once she settles into a foster home, we’ll be able to share more about her personality and how she does in a home environment. For now, she simply needs a safe place to decompress and begin her fresh start.

As with any new foster dog, Jolie should be kept separate from other animals in the home at first and slowly integrated once everyone has had time to adjust. This helps ensure a smooth transition while we learn more about her.

IDR covers all veterinary care and foster-related costs, including food and basic supplies. Fosters simply provide a safe space, basic care, and the time Jolie needs to settle in.

Once Jolie is in a foster home, we’ll be able to learn much more about her and help find the right forever home for her. For now, she just needs someone willing to give her that first safe place to land.

The biographical information provided is correct to the best of our knowledge while the animal is in our care or includes what may have been provided by a previous owner. We strive to be honest and accurate, but animals can change their personalities and behavior when they settle into a new home. IDR+ makes no guarantees based on the information we observe and provide.
