Meet Edie!

Edie is an adorable approximately 3-year-old Chihuahua who recently found herself in rescue after her beloved owner could no longer care for her and entered a nursing home. While losing her home has been a big change, Edie is ready to start the next chapter and find a family of her very own.

At just 6 pounds, Edie is a petite little girl with an even bigger personality. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give her a few minutes—and maybe a tasty treat—and you’ll quickly see her sweet, happy personality come out. Once she feels comfortable, Edie loves attention and is an affectionate little companion with a tail that wags a mile a minute. She’s playful, loves being around her people, and is happiest when she’s getting attention.

Edie does well with other dogs. She has also done well with cats. Older children or respectful teens should be fine as long as they understand how to interact appropriately with a tiny dog.
