Meet Gemma, a 4-year-old Yorkie-Chihuahua mix who was found as a stray before being taken to an area shelter. She was initially very scared when she arrived at her foster home but quickly warmed up to her foster mom and started to feel more comfortable.

Gemma bonds quickly with her favorite person and loves to curl up on a nearby blanket for a cozy nap. She has a good amount of energy and will zoom around when she’s excited, but she’s also content to relax with her humans. She gets along well with dogs of all sizes and is fine with cats as well.

Gemma is nervous around children, so she would do best in an adult-only home. If you’re looking for a friendly, playful dog who enjoys some cuddle time and gets along with other pets, Gemma might be the right fit for you.
