JR is a 2-year-old Jack Russell Terrier mix (with a dash of Chihuahua, we think!) who weighs a solid 17 pounds of pure charm. He made his way to us all the way from Eastern Kentucky, and now he’s on the lookout for a forever family to call his own.
This adorable little guy is housebroken, crate trained, and absolutely lives for long walks—he could go for miles if you let him! He would like a fenced yard but would also be fine with a family that is happy to explore new places and bring him along.
JR is a social pup who enjoys the company of other dogs after proper introductions. Wild or overly energetic pups can be a bit much for him, but once he’s comfortable, he loves to play and hang out with his doggy pals. He’s also a certified cat snuggler and gets along wonderfully with feline friends!
At home, JR is an easygoing and affectionate companion. He’s happy to relax in his crate but would much rather curl up in bed with his people. He’s not much of a barker and can often be found quietly chewing on a bone or lounging nearby, just enjoying your presence.
With JR, you get the best of both worlds: a well-mannered, gentle soul with a touch of playful spirit. Whether it’s an outdoor stroll or a cozy movie night in, JR is happiest when he’s with the ones he loves.
Ready to meet this sweet and spunky little guy? JR might just be the perfect match you’ve been looking for.
