Looking to add a lovable, playful companion to your life? Say hello to Jukebox, a 6-year-old Dachshund mix with a heart as big as his personality and a face that will melt you on the spot. This sweet little guy warms up quickly—especially if you come bearing treats or belly rubs!

Jukebox is currently thriving in his foster home, where he’s been a charming host to every human visitor. He’s a curious adventurer at heart who loves his walks and isn’t afraid to take the lead—literally. If you’re too slow with the leash, he’ll happily grab it himself and try to walk you!

This toy-loving pup is rarely seen without a stuffed animal in his mouth, proudly carrying his treasures around like a little collector. At night, Jukebox prefers to sleep snuggled up in bed with his people—he’s a total cuddle bug who thrives on close companionship. He will voice his displeasure if he’s crated at night so he would do best in a home where he can be with his people. He does get crated when his foster family leaves, and although he barks at first, he does settle in after a little while. He’s mostly house trained but may still have an occasional accident, so a patient and understanding home will help him continue building good habits.

Although he has been a friendly companion to the resident, female dog in his foster home, he hasn’t warmed up to other dogs that have visited. Jukebox would do best as an only dog in a home where he can spend his time soaking up all the love and attention you can give.
