This donation is in honor of Mack the Doberman. He was adopted from ILDR+ in 2015 by my fiance Adam. He lived a long, luxurious and adventurous 8 more years with us, and he still had so much love and joy to spread up until his final seconds. He went peacefully in our arms, and our lives will never be the same. Mack impacted so many people and dogs while he was here on earth. He went to school with Adam, work with me, and we sat on the lakefront for an hour almost every single day this summer. We had friends who would pet sit him for free because of how much they loved him (those are some REALLY good friends!). He was gentle around children and loved lazy days watching the world go by. Thank you so much for the work that you do for all dogs and animals out there. Dobermans are such a special and often misunderstood breed, and I think Mack showed a lot of people how special they are. We are so grateful that ILDR+ found Mack and took care of him until he was ready to come home to us. Best, Marjorie Woolard
