Meet Dottie!
Dottie is a beautiful 6-year-old Doberman with the cutest speckles and a heart that’s just as lovely as her face.
This sweet girl has long since outgrown the puppy phase and is ready to find a family to simply enjoy life with. She’s happiest spending time with her people, lounging around the house, soaking up affection, or enjoying some fresh air. Dottie has wonderful house manners, is fully house-trained, and has no need for a crate—in fact, she’d much rather not be in one.
Dottie enjoys the company of other dogs but can be selective about her canine friends, so slow, proper introductions are important. She would also be perfectly happy soaking up all the love as your one and only.
Like many dogs, thunderstorms aren’t her favorite. Loud storms can make her anxious, so she’ll appreciate a family that understands and can help her feel safe when the weather rolls in.
Because Dottie prefers a quieter lifestyle, she’s looking for a home without small children. A securely fenced 6-foot yard is preferred, though homes without one may be considered if they can provide a consistent exercise routine and safe ways for her to stretch her legs.
If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s affectionate, easy to live with, and happiest right by your side, Dottie is ready to fill that role. She has so much love left to give and is patiently waiting for the family she’s been hoping for.
