Meet Madison

Madison is a stunning 7-year-old Doberman, believed to be of European lineage, and she proudly carries many of the classic traits—intelligence, loyalty, and a strong working drive. But beyond her sleek looks and athleticism, Madison is, at her core, an incredibly sweet and devoted companion who’s ready to find her perfect home.

Brains, Beauty, and a Bit of Mischief
Madison is very smart—sometimes hilariously so. When she first arrived, she showed off her problem-solving skills by opening doors, breaking into food storage, and knocking over gates like a pro. Since then, she’s learned that good manners (like sitting politely) earn rewards, and she’s proven to be highly trainable and eager to learn. She thrives with structure and positive reinforcement, and she’ll absolutely shine with someone who enjoys working with a clever dog.

Exercise & Lifestyle
This girl loves her walks—she’s currently logging 4–5 miles a day and would be happiest with an adopter who can keep up with her active lifestyle. That said, once her physical and mental needs are met, Madison is wonderfully content to relax and nap while her human works. She doesn’t demand constant attention—just a good routine and meaningful activity.

She would do well in a variety of living situations, including a condo or a home with a small yard, as long as her exercise needs are met through daily walks and enrichment.

Prey Drive & Ideal Home
Madison has a high prey drive—squirrels, bunnies, and even sedentary cats are very exciting to her (think DEFCON 5 levels ). Because of this, she would do best in a home without small animals or cats. Her natural instincts also make her an excellent candidate for activities like nose work or barn hunt—she truly loves using her nose and tracking.

Home Habits

  • Housebroken (as long as she gets regular potty breaks)
  • Crate trained
  • Currently crated when left alone, as she can be a bit of a “redecorator” with bedding
  • Settles nicely when her needs are met

Health & Progress
Madison had a challenging start while her care team worked to understand some health concerns, but she’s now thriving on a prescription high-fiber diet. With the right food and care, she’s feeling great and ready to enjoy life to the fullest.

The Perfect Match
Madison is looking for a home that will appreciate her intelligence, meet her exercise needs, and continue guiding her with structure and love. In return, you’ll get a deeply loyal, affectionate, and endlessly impressive companion who will keep you smiling every day.

If you’re looking for a smart, active, and loving dog who’s ready to bond closely with her person—Madison might just be your perfect match.
