Just when Reese should be settling into her new beginning, she’s facing another hurdle. 💔

This beautiful Doberman lost her home when her family’s landlord said she could no longer stay. Through no fault of her own, Reese found herself at CACC, confused and unwanted. We promised her things would get better from here.

But at her veterinary appointment, we received news that broke our hearts.

Reese has multiple mammary masses that are concerning for cancer. Before we know what we’re up against, she needs bloodwork and chest X-rays to determine whether the masses have spread to her lungs.

Right now, we don’t have answers. We only know that Reese deserves the chance to fight whatever comes next.

Rescue is never just about saving a dog from a shelter. It’s about being there when they need medical care, even when the costs are unexpected and overwhelming. Reese is counting on us, and we’re counting on you.
