Meet Rex – a dashing, goofy gentleman who is looking for his forever home!

Rex is a 1.5-year-old red Doberman with a docked tail, natural ears, and a heart as big as his 75-pound frame. This handsome guy came to us from CACC after being surrendered by his previous owners for reasons unknown. Despite the change, Rex has embraced life with resilience, charm, and an irresistible sense of humor.

Don’t let his sleek and regal appearance fool you—Rex is a total goofball. One of his most endearing quirks? He loves to wear hats and glasses. While most dogs might try to shake them off, Rex wears them with pride, striking poses like he knows just how cool he looks. It’s hard not to smile when you’re around him.

We’re still getting to know Rex, so we’re not sure yet how he does with other dogs, cats, or kids. He’ll be heading to a foster home soon, and we’ll share more about his personality and preferences as we learn them.

For now, what we do know is that Rex is full of personality, potential, and love to give. If you’re looking for a sweet, silly, and strikingly handsome companion, Rex might just be your guy.
