Meet handsome Timmy!

He was picked up running stray, but someone cared for him at one point and spent a lot of time on his training. He knows all of his basic commands and performs them without hesitation. He has perfect house manners and is crate trained, although he does like to completely rearrange the blankets in his crate in order to make his bed “just right.” Timmy is a big boy at about 90 pounds but, he is respectful of his foster mom’s space, and he walks nicely on the lead without pulling. He behaves well outside and doesn’t bark excessively but he will let you know with a huge bark if anyone approaches. He really enjoys playing with his toys outside, and loves it when someone takes the time to throw them for him to chase. Timmy’s foster mom thinks he was brought up as an only dog because he is not always respectful of the other dogs in his foster home. He loses his manners and gets overly excited when he tries to play with the resident, large female dogs . He plays too hard, becomes overwhelming, and has to be separated for fear of accidently hurting them or causing a scuffle. For that reason he will only be placed in a home with no other dogs, which is fine with him because all he really wants, and deserves, is to be the center of someone’s world!
