Here I am, Amy! Let me explain my history in such a short time. I was born in a shelter that only allow dogs for so long and I was getting close to not getting out. Unfortunately I wasn’t socialized as I should have been, but I was the shelter manager’s favorite and I bonded with her…phew! So I am new to rescue, but as you can see by some of the pictures my foster mom took, I am just starting to understand life.

I am terrier mix! I am 10 months old and my foster mom is doing everything she can to let me understand life in a house, yes first time in a house. Everything is new to me, the wind outside, garbage trucks, loud cars, literally everything. Though I am in a secured fence and will only be adopted out to a home with a very secured fence, I am still very scared. I have pretty much gotten the potty training down pat, definitely keep my crate clean and I am very quiet in there. I also eat in my crate, which I find my crate my home and I will probably always need a crate, cause when I get scared I go to my crate. I am still kinda of jumpy but my foster mom is working with me on that.

Since I came in with actually not knowing anything, I am making great strides! I get along with the other fosters and resident dogs, and my best buddy is a female, non-dominant dog as I insist on being boss. I am looking for a home with a non-dominant dog or I can do great on my own.

I love all toys, but I definitely put the test to them if they are truly strong. I would need a quiet home, I don’t mind kids but I try to let them know that I am big and tough, just because I wasn’t taught how to be anything else. After a busy day, I love to just hang out on one of the dogs beds and take it easy. I know it might take me a little while to gain a new human trust, but once I do I am 100% loyal. If you are interested in having a life long partner and be willing to work with me on my obedience and through my learning period then I might be your girl!
