Meet Daisy! She made her way to IDR+ after she was turned in to animal control by a person who said they had found her and another Doberman wandering stray. Daisy was extremely thin but was microchipped so we were able to do some research. Upon tracing the chip, it was found that the original owner had left the country and had given Daisy and her companion to a relative who then decided they didn’t want the dogs. Rude, right?!

Their loss is your gain! Daisy has been in a foster home for several months and gained some weight and is looking fabulous! She is 4 years old and her coat is absolutely stunning, specifically for a fawn. Daisy is housebroken and crate trained and gets along well with the resident Dobes but likely won’t befriend any resident kitties. Daisy is quite calm and quiet in the house, but she has been very vocal about chasing off the squirrels when outside in the back yard. She will need a fenced yard to keep her from chasing the squirrels into the next county! She knows some basic commands and is a wonderful houseguest!
